Leffe, a Belgian beer, served in its own brand...

This may be the only week that some people can say this without reprimand. This week is DC Beer Week! You can celebrate it or you can learn about beer culture. Yes, there is beer culture.

Still not convinced? Well I like to explain beer culture like wine culture. Beer can have many different colors (all a tint of brown) and tastes. You could have a wheat beer or a regular one. There are certain ways to have a beer, depending on the country you could either have it ice cold (my personal favorite) or served at room temperature.

Does it sound familiar? The same characteristics of a wine go into a beer as well. So if you’re not a beer connoisseur just yet this is the week to do it! Check out the list of events here!

Please drink responsibly and don’t drink and drive. Simply use the Commuter Rail!
